ingredients:-
Cabbage - 1
Onion - 1
Ginger (chopped) - 1/4 inch
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
method:-
Chop cabbage and onion into small pieces. Heat the oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, add mustard seeds and cumin seeds until it pops. Add the curry leaves and chopped ginger. Add the onions and fry them until it turns golden brown. Then add the cabbage, red chilli, turmeric and salt and stir all of the ingredients together. Cover and let the cabbage cook for 15 minutes. Stir occasionally. Serve hot cabbage curry with rice or naan. One can also add tomato in cabbage for taste.
